This is a fundamental course on social forecasting. It has absorbed the experience of many scientific and educational publications published in Russia over the past 35 years.
The course consists of four parts.
In the first part - the historical conditions for the emergence and development of social forecasting. The second part is the concept of “technological forecasting” and its essence. In the third part - technology for predictive development of social processes. The fourth part is applied social prognostics. Forecasting specific problem situations using the example of Russia. A terminological dictionary is attached to the course.
The book is intended for teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as a wide range of readers.
