A couple of years ago, a small twin-engine plane crashed in the wilds of Maine. Two old hunters, tracking a deer, accidentally walked onto the crash site. In the cabin of the plane, they found a large amount of money and a mysterious list with the names of some people... Автор майстерно поєднує елементи трилера, детективу та містики, створюючи напружену атмосферу, яка тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Сюжет про аварію літака, таємничий список і стародавні сили, що переслідують детектива Чарлі Паркера, вражає своєю оригінальністю та глибиною. Персонажі прописані дуже детально, а їхні стосунки та внутрішні конфлікти додають ще більше емоційності до розповіді.
