The book by sociologist Victoria Dubitskaya is written in the genre of a business novel and is based on research conducted by the author in one of the successful Russian banks, Prima Bank, as it is called in the text, during the formation of its management team. In addition, Geert Hofstede’s hypothesis about the uniqueness of national organizational cultures was tested on a representative Russian sample, which allows us to show how to manage and how not to manage in Russia. The creators of Prima Bank did not know this, which explains their mistakes and, oddly enough, achievements.
