Книга "Смутні часи" - це справжня перлина для всіх шанувальників наукової фантастики та серії "Термінатор". Автор майстерно поєднує елементи драми, екшену та філософських роздумів про природу людства та технологій. Сюжет вражає своєю динамічністю: боротьба з автономними бойовими машинами, заколоти та моральні дилеми, з якими стикаються герої, створюють напружену атмосферу. Джон Коннор та Сара знову в центрі подій, і їхні рішення можуть змінити хід історії. Особливо вражає концепція використання Термінаторів проти бунтівників, що ставить під сумнів саму природу боротьби за виживання.
