“NO FATE” (“Inevitability does not exist”) - these words of Sarah Connor turn out to be wrong. The inexorable passage of time cannot be changed, but only postponed some fundamentally important events. Time is divided into several parallel lines in which Sarah, her son John Connor and the Terminator T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) manage to escape from the steel plant, destroying the T-1000 in liquid metal. Hiding in Mexico and then in Argentina, they form units of the Human Resistance to Skynet there. Artificial intelligence realizes itself as an individual, seizing control of a complex of advanced missile defense systems in Colorado, and begins a nuclear war with Russia and China in 1997. The T-1000 finds the Connors in South America. With several of its operations, Skynet sends its other Terminators into the past, one of which, Eve, helps Skynet begin Judgment Day, and the second, a fundamentally new version of T-XA, consists of three separable components: a male robot, a female robot and a pseudo- animals that can both merge into a single whole and act independently. However, to the aid of John and Sarah, the Human Resistance of the future sends a team of “Specialists” - people modified by software chips with superhuman capabilities, who engage in an unequal and brutal battle with the Terminators...
