Andrey Bychkov is one of the brightest representatives of the modern Russian avant-garde. Author of eight books of prose in Russia and five books published in the West. Winner and finalist of several literary and film awards. Valery Rubinchik’s film “Nanjing Landscape,” based on Bychkov’s script, according to authoritative critics, was included in the dozen best Russian films of the “zero.” One of Bychkov's plays was staged on Broadway.
