Polina Kazakova, known in the city as Miss Robin Hood, learns that her childhood friend Juliana has given birth to a baby. Unfortunately, dead! Polina visits Juliana and hears strange things - supposedly the newborn is alive and well, but it is unknown where she is. Probably, the poor thing is not quite adequate due to grief. However, Polina is soon forced to believe in this course of events. Kazakova is convinced by two certificates, one of which says in black and white: Yuliana does not have an intrauterine infection, and she is capable of giving birth to a healthy baby. And another, issued at the maternity hospital, states: she had an infection, and the mother, having hidden a dangerous diagnosis, was herself to blame for the death of her own baby... Hopeless? Not for Miss Robin Hood!
