This volume contains the best works of Clifford Simak, created in the 50s and 60s. The novels “Again and Again” and “A Ring Around the Sun” describe almost satirical reflections on the inherent vices of people - intolerance, xenophobia and stupidity. In the novels “What could be simpler than time?” and “The Werewolf Principle” the idea of a collision of human consciousness with a more developed rival and “other” mind is developed. But these books are united by a feature that characterizes all of Simak’s work of this period - an optimistic belief in the power of the human spirit.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
