Stanislavsky to the young director N. Gorchakov. Valentin Kataev subsequently wrote that “...the stage fate of my first plays - “The Embezzlers” * and “Squaring the Circle”, as well as the beginning of my dramatic activity, were closely connected with Stanislavsky.”
