Автор майстерно поєднує елементи детективу та історичної прози, створюючи напружену атмосферу та захоплюючи читача з перших сторінок. Особливо вражає, як розкриваються характери персонажів, їхні мотивації та стосунки. Поліцейські Райан і Беккер стають справжніми героями, які, незважаючи на перешкоди з боку прем'єр-міністра, намагаються розкрити злочин.
