The life of Karen Friedman, the wife of a successful lawyer and mother of two children, has turned into hell. "Годинник темряви" - це захоплюючий трилер, який тримає в напрузі від початку до кінця. Історія Карен Фрайдман, яка раптово виявляє, що її життя побудоване на брехні, вражає своєю емоційною глибиною та реалістичністю. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги, де кожна сторінка приносить нові відкриття та несподівані повороти. Персонажі, особливо Карен, вражають своєю силою та рішучістю, адже вона змушена боротися не лише за власне життя, а й за життя своїх дітей. Взаємодія з детективом Таєм Хоуком додає сюжету динаміки та інтриги. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на сприйняття тексту, книга все ж залишається неймовірно захопливою.
