Книга "Неприкрита жорстокість" занурює читача в темний світ маленького університетського містечка, де панує страх і невизначеність. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу тривоги, що охоплює місто, і жахливі вчинки садиста-ґвалтівника на прізвисько Додо викликають глибокі емоції. Читач відчуває напругу на кожній сторінці, намагаючись зрозуміти мотивацію маніяка та розгадати загадку його злочинів. Хоча текст перекладений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків, загальна якість перекладу не заважає сприйняттю сюжету. Ця книга точно не для слабкодухих, але вона змушує задуматися про темні сторони людської природи і про те, як страх може змінити життя цілого містечка.
