It is known that the Plautian family has been under a curse since ancient times, but Publius Aurelius does not believe in either fate or dire predictions. The rascal Castor and the charming Pomponia help him in the investigation of mysterious murders.

«Прокляття роду Плавцієв» — це захоплюючий роман, який переносить читача в епоху давнього Риму, де інтриги, детективні розслідування та історичні події переплітаються в одну захоплюючу історію. Публій Аврелій Стацій, головний герой, є яскравим персонажем, який поєднує в собі риси епікуреєць та детектив, що робить його надзвичайно привабливим для читача. Автор майстерно описує атмосферу Риму, його політичні інтриги та соціальні звичаї, що дозволяє зануритися в цю епоху з головою. Розслідування загадкових вбивств на віллі Гнєя тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки, а динаміка між персонажами, зокрема з Кастором та Помпонією, додає ще більше шарму. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, загальна якість книги не зменшує її привабливості. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні детективи та хоче доторкнутися до магії давнього Риму!
