The book is dedicated to the life and work of the outstanding Russian philosopher Alexei Fedorovich Losev (1893 - 1988). The main motive of the study: the enormous heritage does not belong only to the archive, only to the past; it is also unusually modern and timely, fraught with new things, and equips us to meet the future. A number of fundamental topics (the problem of information, the typology of infinities, the periodic system of principles, the idea of a miracle as a scientific category, etc.) are considered here in order to further develop the deep ideas of A.F. Loseva. The appendix publishes some important works from the philosopher’s archive, accompanied by the author’s commentary. This is correspondence from A.F. Losev and A.A. Meyer (1930s), as well as two works by A.F. Losev “On the Form of Infinity” (1932) and “On the Worldview” (1986). The publication is timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the publication (1916) of the first scientific publication by A.F. Losev and is addressed to both specialists and a wide range of readers interested in philosophical issues.
