The article makes an attempt to restore in memory those trains of thought that led to the discovery of the structure and meaning of the idea. The role of society in the formation of not the novelty itself, but the need for it, is shown. A unified methodology for the emergence of novelty is presented. It has been suggested that the emergence of a person’s ability to generate ideas, firstly, is a consequence of the intensification of the ability to think logically, and secondly, it served as the initiating beginning for the development of language in the form of speech. Based on Heidegger's text, it is shown that at the foundation of existence lies the need to update the structures of the Universe, living nature, society, etc. The need is realized in the process of spontaneous self-organization of matter. Concerns have been expressed regarding our total fascination with the Internet, which discourages us from remembering information we once already knew and thereby training our ability to think logically. The decline of this ability leads to a decrease in our ability to generate ideas.
