As you know, China has the oldest and most complete continuously recorded history in the world. However, making sense of this sea of hieroglyphs is not such an easy task. This publication is an attempt to collect, systematize and present in an easy-to-read form stories covering events from ancient times to the present day of each significant era. And it seems that the authors managed to mention all the notable characters and all the most important events in the history of the Celestial Empire. Of course, one single story by itself cannot fully reflect each era. But the compilers hope that after reading these stories, inquisitive readers will have at least a general impression of the chronology and facts of the rich history of China. Addressed to schoolchildren, teenagers, their parents, teachers and mentors.
