When a patient suffering from amnesia is admitted to Rosemont Hospital in River Heights, nurse Lisa Scotti contacts her friend Nancy Drew. A young man was found wounded at the bottom of a cliff with no documentation or memory of what happened to him. However, a thorough search of his backpack reveals an unusual ring, too large for the mysterious stranger to wear. After learning that the ring is of Indian origin, Nancy takes a dangerous path as she tries to help the man regain his lost identity. She soon finds herself drawn into a new task. A request from a beautiful harpist has Nancy looking for troublemakers who are determined to boycott the River Heights Summer Music Festival. Nancy's findings reveal an important connection between a hospital patient, a harpist and intruders from abroad.
