Oleg Rogozovsky is a researcher who served for thirty years at the post office, a research institute of the Soviet defense industry. After the collapse of the Union, he managed to work at Western universities. Born in 1939 in Leningrad, at the end of 1941 he was evacuated to the north of the Vologda region. He graduated from school in Kyiv. After graduating from Leningrad University, I “got a job” in Kyiv to work in a box. The desire to explain how and why this happened led to a story about parents, grandparents, relatives and friends from the perspective of Russian-Jewish duality. In the second book of the trilogy, Leningrad. Fizmekh Polytechnic" tells about the years of study, classmates and teachers, impressions of the cultural life of Leningrad, hiking trips and geological expeditions during the holidays. It also tells about the history of physical mechanics and the associated Leningrad Phystech, about outstanding physicists and mechanics who stood at the origins of Soviet physics and engineering physics education - Ioffe, Krylov, Kapitsa, Landau, Lurie and others.
