Oleg Rogozovsky is a researcher who served for thirty years in the mailbox, a research institute of the Soviet defense industry. After the collapse of the Union, he managed to work at Western universities. Born in 1939 in Leningrad, at the end of 1941 he was evacuated to the north of the Vologda region. He graduated from school in Kyiv. After graduating from Leningrad University, I “got a job” in Kyiv to work in a box. The desire to explain how and why this happened led to a story about parents, grandparents, relatives and friends from the perspective of Russian-Jewish duality. In the first book of the trilogy, “Notes of a Box Jew” - “From Leningrad to Leningrad” - along with the history of the family tells about the author's journey through the cities and villages of the country lasting 17 years, which ended in 1958 with admission to the physics and mechanical engineering department of the Leningrad Polytechnic.
