Henry Montague, nicknamed Monty, does not care that his rebellious behavior does not correspond to the ideas of others about a true gentleman. He lives to the fullest and doesn't take life seriously. However, Monty's father, in the hope of re-educating his son, sends him, along with his sister and companion, on a grand tour of Europe. Monty agrees. Його пригода по Європі, сповнена небезпек, романтики та самопізнання, захоплює з перших сторінок. Автор вдало передає атмосферу епохи, а також порушує важливі питання про ідентичність, любов і моральність. Монті - це не просто герой, а символ боротьби з соціальними нормами та пошуку власного шляху. Його стосунки з сестрою та компаньйоном додають глибини сюжету, а романтична лінія робить історію ще більш емоційною. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить пригодницькі романи з елементами драми та комедії. Вона змусила мене замислитися про власні цінності та прагнення. Чудове читання!
