Roman Romanov’s story “Victoria, or Wonderfully Wonderful” is a fictional biography of the writer’s sister. The text of the story covers the entire short, but in its own way bright and amazing life of a woman who, in the eyes of others, was always “not of this world” and remained an unsolved mystery for many. The narrative is full of colorful details of Soviet and post-Soviet reality and is distinguished by the author’s ironic intonation.
