Roman Romanov's essay from the series "Experiences of Wanderings" is a kind of dialogue with the text by Joseph Brodsky "Embankment of the Incurable." The author compares his own impressions of today's Venice with the descriptions that the poet made more than thirty years ago. R. Romanov's individual style helps to feel the spirit of life of the Venetians and well conveys the rhythm in which the city exists today. When designing the cover and as text illustrations, the author used his own photographs taken during his stay in Venice.
