The publication represents the second part of a workshop prepared as part of the educational and methodological complex “Foreign Literature of the 18th Century”, developed by employees of the Department of History of Foreign Literatures of St. Petersburg State University. It includes fragments of works by leading experts on Western European and American literature of the 18th century, equipped with test tasks. The materials in the anthology can serve as an additional source of information about the works of English, French, Italian, American and German writers of the 18th century. and are intended both for independent preparation of undergraduate and graduate students, and for use during practical classes under the guidance of a teacher.
