The history of the Northern Army and its role in the Civil War is practically not covered in Russian literature. Disastrously little has been written about General E. K. Miller, but he not only commanded this army, but was also the Supreme Ruler of the Northern Territory, which was, as we know, a “state within a state” that even issued its own money. It was General Miller who also headed the largest White Guard center - the Russian All-Military Union (ROVS), the fight against which the counterintelligence agencies of the Soviet country devoted a lot of time and effort... Valery talks about the intricacies of the events of that difficult time in his novel, which opens the new series “Prose of the Russian North” Povolyaev, famous Russian prose writer, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation. Книга "Північний хрест" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям, адже вона висвітлює маловідомі аспекти Громадянської війни в Росії, зокрема роль Північної армії та генерала Є. К. Міллера. Автор, Поволяєв, майстерно поєднує історичні факти з художнім викладом, що робить читання не лише пізнавальним, але й захоплюючим. Я дізнався багато нового про генерала Міллера, його стратегічні рішення та вплив на події того часу. Книга також підкреслює важливість білогвардійських рухів, які часто залишаються в тіні інших історичних наративів. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією Росії, адже вона відкриває нові горизонти розуміння подій, які формували нашу країну. Читання "Північного хреста" стало для мене не лише освітнім досвідом, але й справжнім задоволенням.
