Is it really possible that “everything is clear to everyone who knows how to think,” and the Church is about PR and money, about the struggle for power and resources, about the cynical exploitation of sincere faith and religious feelings, about elections and glamor? The book includes selected publications by the Chairman of the Synodal Department for Relations between the Church and Society, in which he touches on the most pressing and inconvenient questions asked of the Church by society today, and examines the main myths and stereotypes about the Church as a greedy breeding ground of aggressive obscurantism, serving the pragmatic interests of those in power.< /p>
