Born, lived, studied, worked... Much can be described in just three or four words, but does this mean that we know the person? Any passerby will tell you that yes. Or maybe they will say no, purely out of harm to those who say yes. Was born? Born in the Russian outback. No, not a peasant or some kind of lumpen, cracking sunflower seeds in front of the TV. Lived? There, in a thoroughly gangster city. There are prisons all around, and in the city there is a criminal on a criminal. Studied? I studied at a good institute, but I studied absolutely poorly, at least in my opinion, although my classmates said that I was “slightly below average,” but they didn’t see any problems. Taking their word for it, I finally passed the summer exam and at the Leningrad station boarded the train to Tver that had become so familiar.

Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує літературу, що піднімає важливі питання про ідентичність, соціальні проблеми та людські стосунки. Це справжній шедевр, який залишає слід у серці!
