The second novel in the “Mirror of the Prophet” series. The main character of the novel, Victor, becomes a participant in the experiment. He and the servant have their personal memories erased, as a result they do not remember who they are, where they come from and what time they live in. They have at their disposal a house on a deserted small island and a month of time during which Victor must remember something important. If he fails, death awaits him and his servant. Victor remembers his life. His story begins at the end of the 19th century in Paris, when fate brings him together with people seeking, at all costs, to find the Mirror of the Prophet, and this search completely changes his life, filling it with meaning, dangerous adventures and mystical revelations.
