An alarming year 1952. Provincial Soviet city. An atmosphere of political denunciations and anti-Semitism. Tatka Kostenko (the heroine of the story “Sanatorium-Evpatoria”) is studying in the sixth grade and at the same time graduating from music school. She is inspired by the performance of the famous pianist Svyatoslav Richter, whom she met at a concert. But will Tatka be able to fulfill his dream?
