The mysterious and terrible murder of photographer Nilov brings Ekaterina Petrovskaya, crime observer of the Press Center of the Moscow Region Main Internal Affairs Directorate, to the town of Goryevsk. At the beginning of the 20th century, the only heiress and daughter of the manufacturer Shubnikov, Aglaya, was found hanged in a local landmark - the clock tower. At that moment, the clock on the tower went backwards, after which it stopped forever. Since then, in Goryevsk there has been a belief that the spirit of the tower requires ritual sacrifices - and for this it fulfills cherished desires. A century later, the strange killings resumed. And in front of the eyes of the frightened townspeople, as well as Colonel Gushchin, Ekaterina Petrovskaya and the entire investigative team who arrived at the crime scene, the hands of the tower clock came to life and made several circles back...
