The book by the outstanding Danish poet and writer Inger Christensen (1935–2009) includes translations of a complete corpus of poems and two books of essays. In 2015, a small volume “Selected” was published, containing the poetry collections “Light” (1962), “Grass” "(1963), "Poem about Death" (1989) and requiem "Valley of the Butterflies" (1991). During the preparation of this publication, many of the translations were corrected and improved. The full version of the series “This” (1969), “April Letter” (1979) and “alphabet” (1981) are published in Russian for the first time. Essays from the books “Part of the Labyrinth” (1982) and “State of Mystery” (2000), except for four from the first book, have not previously been published in Russian.
