This edition combines all three books of the well-known novel “Blockade” about the Great Patriotic War, by the wonderful Russian writer Alexander Borisovich Chakovsky. The action of the first of them begins on the eve of the war. The second dates back to July - August 1941, when heavy fighting walked on the outskirts of Leningrad. The third is dedicated to one of the most intense moments - the battle for Leningrad, which unfolded in September 1941. The novel formed the basis for the script of the film of the same name.
