Головний герой Утред - це складний і багатогранний персонаж, чий внутрішній конфлікт між вірністю своїй батьківщині та шаною до вікінгів робить його дуже близьким і зрозумілим читачеві. Книга сповнена динамічних битв, інтриг і глибоких філософських роздумів про ідентичність, вірність та вибір. Я насолоджувався кожною сторінкою, і ця збірка стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує якісну історичну прозу з елементами епічної фантастики!
