Earthling Met Sorin did not know his parents. He was found abandoned as a baby on the steps of the children's home. He discovered abilities that were not typical of earthlings. He grew up, studied and began working in the Laboratory of Memory Problems. Using his ability to read video images in the human brain, he often used this property in his work, which is why he periodically came into conflict with the head of the laboratory. After one of the conflicts, upset, he finds himself in a portal built on Earth by an unknown civilization. Finding himself on a sultry alien planet, he makes considerable efforts to return home.
