One day magical times will come. One day we will have a mobile phone that needs to be charged once a year; a bank card from which it is impossible to steal money; a microthermometer that will sense the first diseased cell and cure it. One day this will all become reality. It remains to understand quantum mechanics, which will make miracles possible. Quantum world! How deep is it? Will humanity ever know its depth when it can say: these are the most elementary particles and they are indivisible? And will it be able to fully understand all the laws of the quantum world and use them to serve itself? Finally, the twin of the Sun, that same mythical Nemesis, was found and a planet was discovered around it in the habitable zone, with no signs of the presence of intelligent life on it. The emerging demographic problems on Earth force earthlings to send a colonial expedition to it, in the hope of founding a colony there. The colonists, who have already begun to settle down, suddenly encounter strange flying objects in the atmosphere of the planet, which, although not warlike, with their presence cause fear in the colonists - when they meet them, depriving them of short-term memory.
