“A Comprehensive Collection (Greek: Pandects) of the Inspired Holy Scriptures” is a famous patristic moral and ascetic work written by Rev. Antiochus the Monk, abbot of the Palestinian Lavra of Saint Sava the Consecrated, around 620. This is a collection of 130 conversations (words) on a variety of spiritual topics. "Pandects" Rev. Antiochus were known in the Middle Ages and therefore survived not only in Greek, but also in Slavic languages. Based on quotations from the Bible, the works of the Fathers of the Church and church writers, this work contains a valuable fusion of monastic spiritual experience, and therefore it is not only interesting as a monument of ancient Christian church writing, but also relevant as a source of spiritual knowledge for modern Orthodox readers who seek it.
