The second book fills the gap of the first and it already talks about that very circus, how it arose, what traditions it had, and all this is also presented in the form of stories, only consistent and more coherent. The third book tells about the colonization of Momus by circus performers, about the formation of that strange culture that appears in all its glory in the first book. And this book is generally quite depressing.
