It seems that we know very little about the life of our ancestors - the first people. We do not have any written evidence of their history, and one can only guess about their way of life, beliefs and way of life from rare finds, burials and sites. Is this enough? It turns out yes. Stones and skulls can tell a lot about the past: about how families lived, how children became adults, how people hunted, how they discovered new lands, how the first animals were domesticated, and even how teeth were treated. We believe that the representatives of the Stone Age are infinitely far from us and we are not at all like them, but it is unfair to think so: there was much more humanity in the Paleolithic people than we think. 50 illustrated stories about how our ancestors were not just homo, but also people.
