The brutal naval confrontation in the Far East has come to a decisive turning point. If Russian sailors can unite the squadrons of Makarov, Chukhnin and Rudnev, gathering on the Port Arthur raids a naval group that is numerically and qualitatively superior to the United Fleet of Admiral Togo, the Japanese will have virtually no prospects for victory in the war. Meanwhile, off the eastern coast of the Land of the Rising Sun, Admiral Bezobrazov's ships conduct cruising operations in enemy trade communications, using secret anchorages on the islands of the Mariana Archipelago and coal from the ships of the German company Albert Ballin. The loss of ships, their cargo and skyrocketing freight costs promise catastrophic consequences for the island nation. However, the Japanese navy is not defeated. Her army was not defeated in Manchuria. And although sober heads in Tokyo already understand perfectly well that in the current situation, the war has been lost by their country completely and irrevocably, due to the samurai tenacity of the imperial generals, the fighting continues with increasing bitterness.
