The book presents a systematic doctrine of neuroses, covering somatogenic, psychogenic and sociogenic neuroses, as well as noogenic neuroses, which arise as a result of a feeling of loss of meaning in life. The concept of logotherapy developed by the author, that is, meaning-oriented psychotherapy, can find application in the form of paradoxical intention for fear neuroses and obsessive-compulsive neuroses, and in the form of “dereflection” for disorders of potency and orgasm. In the theoretical and therapeutic parts of the book, the reader will find many examples from clinical practice, as well as the results of experimental studies.
