Japan is a country that combines opposites: yin and yang, old and new, one’s own and someone else’s. Some may think that this country is losing its identity and becoming similar to a European country. In some ways this is true. Tea ceremonies are becoming increasingly rare, embodying the grace of Emptiness and the goodness of Peace, which at one time gave rise to ikebana, wabi ceramics, Japanese gardens, which influenced porcelain, painting, and the interior of a Japanese home. Japan has become more “brilliant”, although it has never tolerated brilliance or gloss, but rather appreciated the patina of antiquity. The appearance of a woman, which had been unchanged for a long time, has changed. In short, the face of Japan has changed almost beyond recognition. However, we are of the opinion that Japan has just become a modern country, has become similar to the laws of our time, but this does not mean that it has forgotten about its origins, traditions, and customs. They live in the everyday life of the Japanese, who are in no hurry to show them off.
