Publisher's abstract: “Alexandra Viktorovna Bogdanovich was known throughout St. Petersburg, located on the three highest floors of the “table of ranks”; ministers and governors, metropolitans and ladies-in-waiting, diplomats and writers gathered in her hospitable salon. For thirty-three years, Bogdanovich painstakingly wrote down in her diary everything that seemed worthy of attention to her, although she did not pretend to be a historiographer of the last three emperors. Despite the lack of a deep political analysis of what was happening, she was able to record in sufficient detail and with a high degree of reliability many events that took place in the period from 1879 to 1912." The index of names is inserted as a separate chapter. Errors are possible in the Index of names, since special verification with was not carried out in text.
