The story “Ebony” (“Ebano”) is written in the dynamic style of a cinematic script. The events described take place in Africa, the main characters: a European photographer and his African wife, an outstanding athlete and a desperate idealist, trying to attract the attention of the Western world to her unfortunate, poor African country. During their honeymoon in Africa, a woman is kidnapped, and it is from this moment that the unfortunate husband’s “odyssey” begins in search of his wife, who is led along secret and intricate paths across the entire continent to the Arabian Peninsula in order to be sold for a very significant sum to a certain sheikh.
