Yuri Vinnichuk (born in 1952) is a famous Ukrainian writer, poet, playwright, and literary figure. Lives and works in Lviv. The writer's novel "Tango of Death", winner of the "BBC Book of the Year 2012" competition, received an award from the community of the city of Lvov - the sign "Golden Coat of Arms of Lvov", and became, without any doubt, one of the most high-profile events of the last year. Events in the new novel Yuri Vinnichuk's "Tango of Death" unfolds in two plot sections. In pre-war Lviv and during World War II, four friends - a Ukrainian, a Pole, a German and a Jew, whose parents were soldiers of the UPR army and died in 1921 near the Bazaar - experience extraordinary adventures, fall in love, fight, but in any cataclysm they do not betray their friendship. In parallel, other events are happening these days with other heroes. And not only in Lviv, but also in Turkey. However, how both storylines will come together will be revealed in the unexpected ending.
