Poselyanin (Pogozhev) Evgeny Nikolaevich (1870-1931) - writer. Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow University (1892). From 1893 he lived and worked in Tsarskoye Selo and St. Petersburg, served in government agencies, and collaborated with spiritual magazines “Russian Pilgrim”, “Wanderer”, “Church Gazette”. Author of works about the life and works of religious figures, the history of the Russian Orthodox Church. After 1917 he did not publish; he earned money by giving private lessons. Arrested in 1924, exiled. In 1926 he returned to Leningrad. Arrested for the second time and executed in 1931.
