This article, oddly enough, is devoted mainly to the “problem of problems” of the theory of modern folklore, namely, how and to what extent (if this happens at all?) new (compared to traditional folklore) folklore forms arise. Warning to the reader: a reader interested specifically in the theoretical and folkloristic part can only read the introduction and conclusion, since the main part of the article is devoted, firstly, to the reception of Karl Marx’s questionnaire in Soviet culture, and secondly, to the substantiation of the hypothesis about the influence of Karl Marx’s questionnaire Marx on the emergence of a girl’s handwritten questionnaire.
