The young woman, Anna von Seydlitz, is close to despair. Her husband, an antiques dealer from Munich, dies in a mysterious car accident. A film falls into Anna’s hands, where the same object is captured: parchment with text in Coptic. She soon realizes that there is a mystery associated with the manuscript, since she is offered a fantastic sum for the original.
