Autumn 2003. A successful businessman purchases an apartment in a newly built luxury residential complex with a swimming pool, shopping arcade and hanging gardens. After some time, this sole inhabitant of two gigantic thirty-five-story towers begins to suspect that he still has some invisible, silent and mysterious neighbors. But who are they? The novel “The Underground Ship” can be called a detective story. But this is also a kind of encyclopedia of the “zero years” - an era to which we have already said goodbye, but which we are still just beginning to comprehend.
