In this book, Pushkin comes to the reader from abroad, where he himself, the “poet not allowed to travel abroad,” has never been. After 1917, Pushkin was taken abroad by exiles who thought and dreamed that very soon they would return to their homeland. In their archives, diaries and memoirs, Pushkin remained a part (and a very large one!) of Russia, which they passionately loved and left not of their own free will. It took about a century (and even more) for the “foreign” Pushkin to return to his native land. The author of the book is Vladimir Fridkin, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor at the University of Lincoln (USA) and Torento (Italy), Pushkin scholar and writer , contributed a lot to this.
