The boy Vanya arrives on New Year's Eve to visit his grandparents in the village of Rozhdestvenskaya. He doesn’t yet know that New Year and Christmas are the most magical and fabulous times. In the village, he meets a girl, Yana, whose grandmother is very similar to Baba Yaga. Yana secretly tells Vanya that her grandmother is a witch. During this magical time, day and night are confused, and it is difficult to understand where reality is and where it is a dream. The children find themselves in the magical land of Zoriya and save the queen from certain death in Iron Mountain; fight with Leshiy and his snowy army; saving the Snow Maiden. And Santa Claus, who looks like Vanya’s grandfather, helps them in everything. Children will learn why Christmas trees are decorated with five-pointed and eight-pointed stars, and what the ark is. Vanya will have to go through a test and find out why the village is called Rozhdestvenskaya.
