Hans Heiney Evers (1871-1943) - German writer, playwright, satirist. His works, which at the beginning of the 20th century were considered among the outstanding achievements of fiction, are characterized by grotesqueness, mystery and fantasy. The first volume included: a collection of short stories “Horrors” (1907) and the novel “Alraune” (1911). A strange mixture of super-sensual mysticism and vivid realism is reflected in this deep and fascinating work by Evers.
